Here, close to San Francisco de Coyote you will find the nicest beaches of Costa
Rica.
Beaches, like, Playa Hermoso, Playa Manazanillo, Playa Caletas, Playa Coyote,
Playa De Oro, Playa San Miguel and Playa Islita among others, are worth a visit.

The nature is just beautiful and unspoiled.
You find here a lot of monkeys and many other exotic animals.
Paradise for a bird watcher.
Very few tourists on the beach, but a lot of sea turtles!

Also for a active vacation, this is the place to be.
Great for mountain biking, surfing and other sports.

The biggest village here is San Francisco de Coyote with about 1400
inhabitants.
Here you find a medical post, police station, college, restaurants and some
shops.
The people here are very friendly and helpful.
They work in cattle farming, construction and fishing.

The prices here are still very accessible.
Not many tourist are coming here, one of the reasons might be the
roads, because they are not paved.
In the near future a road will be constructed from Liberia along the
coast to Playa Ario.It's named Ruta del Sol.
